Location: Pewaukee | Long time reader, first time poster. I have a Revo Toro Winch and a Nacl 60 and am looking for a less expensive reel as a back up or for a guest to use. I am thinking of something in the $150 range (ebay pricing) like a Lexa 300 5.1:1 or a Okuma Citrix. I like the lower profile reels and have been burned on buying used. I tried a search on the Citrix but there is not much out there. |

Location: Pewaukee | That reels looks like it is built very well, however that price point is getting closer to another Revo. I am hoping to see both at the Milwaukee Musky Show |

Location: Pewaukee | Can I ask why? Have you any experience with the Citrix? I think that the Citrix is a little too new and there are not too many people who have used one. I can't say I think okuma is a "top tier" but the specs on the reel (and the Komodo) are pretty impressive none the less for the price. |

| I bought the Lexa hs-p 300 last season in the spring and I love it more than my revo 60hs. It casts smooth and never had a backlash. I almost never have to thumb the spool at all during the cast. I spooled on 100 pound power pro and it holds a decent amount of line still. I use it to cast everything from bucktails, gliders, jerks, and spring dawgs and regular medussas. |
