Are there any issues putting a bag on a hoop that doesn't fit the full size? We have a 32 x 32 hoop on our net and I was looking at getting one of the frabill replacement bags for it but they all seem to be 32 x 41. Will this cause any issues?

I've never done it but I think it would work. It will be bunched up some, and you won't have the full size of the net (especially near the hoop), but I think it would work ok.
Have you compared the cost of an entire net vs just the replacement bag? I think you and the fish would like the bigger hoop so the fish stays horizonal and upright in the net more easily.
I've often said/pondered how many muskies I've saved by having a good net and hook cutters. Have had some appeared to be hooked pretty badly that swam off just fine without shedding blood due to the right tools.
A big net can make life a lot easier on you and the fish.

Contact Delta Net and Twine and ask them about making you a net replacement. Tell them your hoop size and how deep and see what they come up with. I have a couple bags from him.
