| Anyone been watching Letterman lately?? He's been real candid and a little broken up about all that's going on. Monday night he did a speech if you will and had a hard time keeping composure. Then he had Dan Rather on the other night and Rather actually broke down on TV 2x. Then he apologizes about it. He didn't need to do that. He's been seeing everything since minute one and been to the scene several times too.
Anyway, last night Dave says "My 3 favorite people are 1st the New York Firefighters, 2nd the New York Police Officers and 3rd the US Marine Corp because they are gonna go in there and settle this score." Doesn't sound so funny here but the way he said it just kind of made me laugh. Way to go Dave....

| Saw a clip...nothing wrong w/ shedding tears over something like what happened this past week; I know I have + feel no need to aplologize. I think we''ll see our Special Op. Groups at their best + my hope is that people here will be patient as so much is at stake + that we understand how IMPORTANT silence is concerning military responses....meaning no media following our leaders around dogging them to find out where to set up the next camera crew. Let''s just kick back + wait; this is for real + to do it right will require our standing together in firm resolve... remember the "old west" poster.....[:sun:] | |
