Ok guys I need help! I am from Ohio and have talked my fiancé into going to the milwaukee expo. The only catch is it's our anniversary so I am going to have to take her out and do something more in her wheel house. Who's got some ideas?

Drop her off at Brookefield Square while you go to the show and then book a room at Sybaris.

Brookfield Suites Hotel is an excellent facility, with indoor pool and restaurants, is located in Brookfield, just south off the I-94 Interstate on Moorland Rd, and Brookfield Square, a major metro Milwaukee shopping mall, is just north of the same interchange. Bluemound Road is the North limit of Brookfield Square with two miles of shopping and all types of restaurants to the west.
Of course you need to bring her to the Slammer Crankbait Booth at the Expo as we are the ONLY vendor with a relationship with Victoria Secrets as they have made swimming suites to match all the custom and standard show colors that are available on the Slammer Crankbaits. You can get her a suit to match each bait that you buy! Everyone makes out!
Long ago I learned that you take care of the ladies, a lot of good things happen!

Funny stuff Steve. My wife is the manager of the appleton Victoria secret and I'm pretty sure that they didn't make swimming suits that match slammer baits. Lol nice sales tactic though.

If you are going to be in town, you absolutely have to visit the Milwaukee Public Market. It is a great experience. And you can get a great seafood meal in there that will put anything else in town to shame.

This is a relatively new place - near downtown. Awesome beer selection, haven't tried the food, so cant say much about it. But got a tour of the suites - they are awesome.

What are you interested in for entertainment? Milwaukee has a lot to offer, but it depends on what you (and by you, I mean HER) are looking to do.

Well we are a young couple I am 26 and she is 22 not really into the club scene however. We like comedy clubs or piano bars anything upbeat and entertaining.

I'm not into the club scene either. But the Safehouse is AWESOME! It is an old Speakeasy and full of spy stuff to look at. Including a secret entrance and secret exit. And yes, it is helpful to know the password when trying to get in.

February 14th is not only Valetines Day but my Anniversary too. That doesn't mean I have to muck up a perfectly good Musky Show weekend...which I am not about to do! I'm taking her to Florida THIS week instead when I can plan some really nice Spa days for her while I reserve a good bass guide. Stay thirsty my friends!

Another vote for Milwaukee Public market. great seafood and good prices, they got free parking. If she likes beer, Lakefront brewery tour is awesome and they got great beer. I am stuck in downtown Milwaukee for a few more years and I been to the brewery tour more times than i remember and its always good.

If you want a good bar to go to theres a lot to choose from on brady street that are not so college oriented if that isnt yer thing.

There is luicilles piano bar you mentioned you like piano bars on 3rd street. was pretty cool if i remember correctly the one time i was in there

Lots of great places to eat and drink. Milwaukee has a bar on every corner. The Muskie Show is right in the center of everything as you can head any direction to fine fun. The normal exit 84th st in closed so find a different entrance, use 76th or Greenfield ave to get the Fair Park. Don't know what your interests are but goggle Milwaukee fun spots and it should give you a lot of whats happening. Stay at the Midway motor lodge on Mooreland and you're close to the action with the bait swap Saturday night and some live music in the bar after that and a indoor pool.
Good Luck,

Netman (every boat needs a good one)

SVL will be sporting a new Speedo in the with custom colors each hour on the hour. Victoria secret plan fell through when he rolled out of bed, hit the floor and woke up.

Maybe we can get him to do some demo casts for the crowd in his custom colored Speedo's!!!

In all seriousness regarding Slammer Customs.....Everyone needs to stop by Bill's booth and check out his show colors. Always some must have colors you can't buy anywhere else but the shows.
Quality baits for outstanding prices. Atta boy Bill!!!

Love Milwaukee.

Lakefront Brewery tour is great. As mentioned, great art museum. Also, check out Discovery World. Brought the kids there a couple weeks ago and I'm not sure who had more fun - me or them. And add another vote for the Milwaukee Public Market. The Rumpus Room is one of my favorite restaurants, but lots of great advice here and no shortage of options. And yes, it does help to know the password at the Safe House.

I will be there on friday. Would love to be at the swap meet on saturday but I have to set up the blackhawk musky club Banquet. It will be a great time. I will be picking up some musky baits and reels for the banquet.
