If we were to be able to generate content via video, chats, articles...what would YOU want to be reading/watching/learning about? Beyond big fish pics and the occasional bikini pic.

I would like to see professional videos/articles of specialized fishing techniques. Not for pushing tackle manufacturers, but a specific technique that may be cutting edge, or outdated but effective. Something that I can learn from and apply to my fishing.
Getting somebody who actually knows what they are doing and consistently catches fish to do these demos would be cool. Like weekly videos from the pros.

Check out youtube for stuff on using electronics, tons of information.
I would appreciate discussion or information that outlines what the different types of prey relate to and their general movements within a system seasonally. Some fine scientific/biologic detail here would be great. Both non-pelagic and pelagic baitfish. The more baitfish education the better.
No need for bikini's here, the internet in general is saturated with such content.

I think discussing cover, structure and fish migrations on natural lakes, reservoirs and rivers would be helpful. Also how to fish that structure and position the boat properly. Avoid getting into specific bodies of water though. Maybe have a good angler discuss how he breaks down new water and gets on fish. I feel that could be very practical and useful information for all but especially for new anglers who often struggle to get a handle on this. Just my thoughts.

I would like to learn about best practices for storage & reissue of waypoints by lake and icon meaning. Not Elite, am using that now, changes the icon markers from certain units.

I'd love to see a weekly vid from a professional in (muskie) fisheries management from the states that have them. Keep us informed on what's new and what to watch for in that particular state.

2nd on this one. Specifically, I think it would be great to see split-screen video of someone working the rod/reel on one side, and a close-up of the lure (preferably in a pool, or clear water) on the other side. It's one thing to watch someone work a lure, but I find it really helpful to see what action those motions are causing. It can seem really basic, but sometimes just seeing what a little rod flip does, or the combined effect of action with the rod + reel would be really fun to watch.

First off, great idea. The decidedly lacks this kind of stuff. I'd like to add my support to a few of the suggestions:
What Kirby said. I'd add to this that it would be nice for the describer to give comments on what to look for on a lake map in order to find potential locations to use the pattern. Help me apply the pattern to where I fish. (assuming it is relevant)
What Don said would be awesome to see some content on.
Would love to see videos on bait uses with detail on triggering methods, etc.
Information of forage habits would be excellent. One thing I notice fishing in the metro is we lack both Shad and Ciscoes, which seem to be the most commented on forage species. Would love to see stuff on Muskies that target Perch, panfish populations.

All good suggestions, but hasn't this all kind of been covered on here through the years? Although the video pieces would be cool. As far as articles and chats that has been done, but maybe time to start it up again as I think the chats have been lacking the last few years???
Most of what is asked for can be found via a search, although maybe the search function needs to be made a little bit more effective/efficient.
That said I would love to see something about operating a Hummingbird SI unit as well, and best set-up for it. I've been too lazy to look up You Tube.
I think starting up the chats again would be cool, and get some of the old time chat guests back on here...if they are willing. Do a chat a week.

It would also be cool to get more post-tournament talk going...interviews with different teams on how they approached a body of water and the outcome.
I think a thread "hall of fame" would be a nice feature to group some of the best conversations of the past in one place.

I would some good scientific data showing musky "migration" and habits throughout the year. I would like to see one of those gps trackers (and other info recorded too) attached to a bunch (>100) of Musky in LOTW and see what they do. Then you can see how certain things such as weather, lake temps, moonphases, ect. change their habits as a group. I would love to conduct that study.

Regarding the Side Imaging requests, is this somewhat along the lines of what you were looking for? Two videos with Bone Collector Pro Jason Przekurat and one on 360.
Those who asked for 360 imaging info, is that what you needed?

I would like to see how everyone would fish different structures at different times of the year. Say a mid lake island with a rocky point and a small bay......how would you fish that in the spring, summer and fall. What baits would you use at the different times of the year...illustrate that and hear from the experts would be pretty cool. Just some classic musky spots of all different kinds on clear and stained water.

I'm all for video's of the those "experienced" muskie angler's talking about old method's or even their current method's. Howie Meyer and Tom Gelb come to mind for late season muskies..... or anytime of season for that matter. Bill Gardner too - Is "Time on the Water" the only way or is it easier just because you've had so much practice?
Don Pursch -> Water temps & muskies? Finding their comfort zone in the lake.
Also x2 on primary forage species and movements in given lake types. Yes, we all know they are also opportunistic and the big girls eat just about anything - is their a genetic link to overly large humans? They have preferences for snacks....
How about a discussion about aquatic plants, types location and useage by fish? Lot's of folks don't think cabbage is or can be abundant in trout water lakes....

LOL- I'm afraid the GPS tracker thingy won't work unless they used a floating tether for the GPS puck!
