| The 5th Annual Ohio Swap Meet and Raffle was an overwhelming success once again! Despite the terrible weather combined with even worse driving conditions, the swap was packed! As soon as the doors opened for setup, people began displaying tackle quickly. The swap soon overflowed into the lobby area! I wanted to take some pictures but instead I was swamped with ticket sales for the Minnow Fund Raffle table the entire time. The complimentary 20 pizzas were eaten in record time! In the short, 2.5 hours from open 'til raffle, we generated a staggering, $1181.00 for minnows! I can only imagine how much we could have made if the weather was better! This money will be donated directly to the ODNR Minnow Fund through Muskies Inc. Chapter 41 at their annual banquet. Many individuals and vendors donated to the impressive raffle table. There were also several CASH donations that are greatly appreciated! Those of you that attended the swap raffle last year probably remember the "mystery" bait that appeared on the table. Well, the Chapter 56 guys managed to rustle up another one of those things! I can only describe it as a Native worship device with hooks! -Awesome guys! We would like to thank everyone that attended and bought tickets! We look forward to making next years swap and raffle even better!
