took my second trip to musky land, Tennessee today. This time I left the bass gear at home and took my new musky lures. Ended up finding a favorite in a Musky Innovations Shallow Invader. Landed about a 5lb bass on it first. minutes later, landed my first musky. 35" long and quite a fight. Nearly jumped in my kayak. I got great gopro footage and I will post video once I make the edit.

Thanks guys for welcoming a southern boy and teaching me the ropes. I read tons of threads on here trying to learn as much as possible.

Nice going! I caught my first Muskie in Aug of 2012. One 43 inch and one 45 inch! Got another one this past Sept of 42. Looking forward to our next trip in March!

My buddy Cody Daniels popped a 50" not far from that spot in December 2012. There are some really nice fish in that river.
