Location: Chippewa Falls Wisconsin | Of coarse I am moving so packing up and getting rid of the stuff we dont use is par for the coarse.
I explain to my wife that my daughter has 8 driveway toys, carts, trucks all those plastic take up too much room in the garage stuff. I say can we ditch all but three since she does not play with them much..........OH....the evil eye hits me.
She says, OK. "For every toy you pitch, I get to throw out a box of baits you have".....NOTE (A BOX OF BAITS). I said "How in the hell is that equal". A box has approx 40 baits in it, the cost of which is easy $400. How many stupid, take up space in the garage toys can I buy for THAT!
Lets just say...I did not win...all the toys are moving as well as the baits.
SHEESH! |

I think the west hill in Chippewa has neighborhood thrift sales in May, you'll be stocked up with all sorts of goodies and have a reason to put a sign in the yard and meet your neighbors.
Remember one persons "junk" is another persons "gold".... |

I could give you say......$.10 on the dollar or so just to ease the pain. LOL x 100. I think Curly has the right idea, calm down, count your blessings, and have a humongo garage sale if you have too much stuff. Remember, you are going to be close enough now to come fishing over here in God's country. Can't wait to share the boat this season. |

Location: Athens, Ohio | Jason, I've been married come 20 years, so the best I can offer is, move the durn toys and throw them away later from the new location. Keep you baits, it's up to YOU to lose them on structure. been there, done that, it's easiest to let her 'win'. She did, after all, offer to judge your muskie board story contest, give her round one. There is no way to win this. m |

| Dude...you gotta wait 'til the wife/girl are out, then selectively "remove" certain items in groups over a period of time!!! Stuff they get and then don't touch for a year suddenly becomes their favorite things; I deal w/ this on a weekly basis. Little Sponge has reached the point that he asks me what he should play w/ at times, a sure indication they have way too much STUFF. Start w/ stuff that has missing parts, and stuff that is at the bottom of the toy box. There is no easy way!:( |

you're looking at that garbage all wrong!! Those are sweet little tax deductions when you donate them to your favorite charity!!! Not to mention you may brighten the day of some child thats is less fortunate than you! On the other hand, I'm less fortunate than you!!! I live in Kentucky, and your moving to "better musky country"! Maybe you should donate those lures to the "Help Bret Catch More Muskies Foundation" LOL LOL
Best of luck to you and yours on your move!!! |

| Well, I just got off the phone with Jason. I get to put all his fishing stuff in my truck on Wednesday of the move, and deliver them on Saturday at the new ranch in Chippewa Falls. I'm gonna have a ball rummaging through all those boxes Connie wants him to throw out! I figure I can relieve him of three or four boxes, at least!
Don't worry Jason, I won't let The Extreme One anywhere near my truck! It will be garaged at an undisclosed location, til Saturday morning. If he wants in the back, he'll have to find a way at 73 MPH! |

Old 7" Slammer or two...yea that was it. It's in the box that's marked, "keep your hands out"...

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Shep do you want to go fishing? We can take your truck. Need some help cleaning out your truck? I think we need to have a little rummage sale before the move. I think a call to Connie is in order, what do you think Jason. I can get rid of some of those toys for a small pile of baits, I can tell Connie its for the little kids in my neighborhood that can't afford new toys this year. |

Location: oswego, il | Jason, you are married, you only get to do things your wife lets you. Luckily she lets you go fishing. I could not say I was that lucky when I was married. But then you got the stare. The dreaded stare. Like walking on egg shells, your next move or comment may be your last. |

| I always figured..every time I let my wife win or get out of the house..I'm building equity towards more fishing trips. I love the idea of running a few of them over with the moving truck, just make darn sure the lures are securely hidden in the front of the truck. It does sound like you may have too many of those silly muskie baits anyway, I'll jump in the line to help lighten your load thus making the move easier..hey, just trying to help |

| Hey Jason,
Move the toys, when you get to your new home have a garage sale and buy new baits with the money you make.
Good luck, Murph |

Just do what I do, throw the stuff away when she isn't looking. Works for me most of the time. |

| I don't understand it. Everytime my wife won't let me throw something away, somehow one of the kids seems to leave it laying on the briveway right behind the truck a few weeks later....... |

Start them young, start your Daughters own tackle box's at once, once you have them fishing with you,the Wife can't say no!Then you can always use her lures as well as yours. You could purchase another whole set of tackle box's to match what you already have! |
