| So now i use 100lb Tuff line on my Avet SX, and i like it, but was wondering which line people like when they use a reel w/o level wind?
I don't feel it's a problem with the Tuff line, but if there is something better out there, i would like to know.
Tight Lines. |

| I use 80 or 100 LBS Tuff Line PLus on my trinidads and occasionally I will use 80 LBS Masterbraid if I can not get the Tough Line... All three work great... |

| I use the Tuff line on all my other reels as well.
Is there lines you have tried that you really think sucks to a reel w/o level wind. ?
I'm asking because iv'e seen several mention that the correct line, helps a lot with the non-level wind reels, but before i used Spiderwire "code red", and i didn't have any problems with that one either. (except the fact that i was able to pull it apart with my hands if i had have an overrun) |

| As a new owner of a Trinidad 16N, I too would love to hear others thoughts -- what makes a particular line "better" than another on such a non-levelwind reel?
Greatly appreciate the feedback from those in the know! |

| Round line (Tough Line PLus, Master Braid) = good...flatter line (Suffix, Tough Line XP) can be a challenge with non-level wind reels IMHO. |

| I have 4 non-level wind reels. I found that line that is more limp as it leaves the spool backlashes less than line that has more memory in it. I actually was able to make a trip to Canada a few years ago and fished hard and didn't get a backlash the entire trip. This year I think the first cast I made I got a backlash, but line choice seems to make a difference. I still don't think I've found the best line, but Tough line worked better than Suffix for me. |

| I had good luck with the 80 lb 832 on my Trinidad 16N and I've heard good things about the 100 lb Cortland master braid. Definitely agree that round line works better. |

| Thanks for all the inputs, think i'll keep my Tuff line until it's worn out, then i'll maybe give the Master braid a go :D |
