Location: St Paul, Minnesota		Hey All,
I'm planning on getting an early jump on the muskies this year by making a few trips from the Twin Cities down to Iowa this April. Any good recommendations of lakes/waters down there, preferably not too terribly far from the Minnesota border that would be good to fish?

I'll be fishing out of a Ranger 185vs (bass style boat) so I can get in and out of decently skinny water but nothing too shallow.

Appreciate any and all recommendations,

Location: Iowa		Saylorville or Red Rock would be a good start with as many muskies as got out of Big Creek...no other muskies in any lakes in Iowa...I hear though that the Iowa Great Lakes are better than any lake in Minnesota...;)

Location: Plymouth IA		Give Clear lake a try 130 miles from the cities. Hope for a early spring.

I wouldn't plan on IA great lakes in April, lakes are closed to muskie fishing until May 20th.
