| Jim, I have used the Williams Wabler Gold/Silver, Gold, and Silver. spoons in Canadaian Lakes with success on Pike while trolled, should work on Muskies too.
There is a rig called The BergerKing Rig, its 200 ft. line a straight Believer or Swim Whiz with an eighteen in leader attached to the rear hook eye of the Believer or Swim Whiz then a Spoon. Successful in the St. Lawrence I hear. Hope this is helpful |

| I've had great success with tigers and pike with gold (any color really) dardevles. We mainly use the 1 oz. but we have a few of the larger ones we want to try.
My buddy was using a bass pro casting spoon that looked great but he had no action all day while we all had multiple fish. As soon as he switched over to the dardevle he had one on within a half hour. |

| Why 200 ft of line out, seems rather excessive? |

| Typically a medium (straight) retrieve. Sometimes we will slow it down a little if the conditions call for it. I would like to use them more and expand my retrieval methods- I know there are a ton of different ways to bring them in. I did hit a few pike with giving a nice jerk on a slow/medium retrieval. They have a great flutter so I want to experiment this season....it all depends on how much I get out. |

| Are using the original Daredevles with the treble hook or the weedless models with the single hook and wire weed guard? I've caught lots of respectable largemouth and northerns on weedless Daredevles in Canada. Never had a musky interested in one to my knowledge though. |

Location: Minnesota | I brought a kid out with me one year. a friends son he was like a kid in a candy store he went through all my baits. he put on a 5 of diamonds musky size I was working a weed line a bought 12 feet deep. he started to cast out away from weed line. he caught a 42" musky in 25 feet of water only time I have ever seen a fish even follow that thing I called it beginners luck |

| I use the originals with the trebles. I have a bunch of 1 oz, a 2 oz, a trolling devle that is lighter but has a larger profile than the originals and a husky devle (biggest one made).
I have only caught tigers, I only get to pure musky fish a handful of times since the closest musky lake is 2 hrs away. Plus I mostly only tiger fish in the spring, not sure if that has anything to do with my luck. This upcoming year I want to get out more and get a pure on a spoon. There was a guy that sells some really big spoons that I want to try, 12" long if I remember. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Spoons are designed to be used as 'jump lures'. Vary the retrieve speed, and let the spoon fall in between varying speeds and lengths reeling, use them in weeds and let them fall into pockets, and be creative on the trailers. |

| I like the Husky JR Dardevels 2oz in orange/ blackspot and Old red/white works. And the gold redeye musky2.3oz. And the Johnson silverminnow 1.2oz with a trailer. Strait retrieve and stop and flutter work for my boat. OH forgot the larger Lindy gator spoons.
