Location: North St. Paul, MN | Anyone have any experience with the phantom phantail? I use, almost exclusively the softail phantoms...wondering if it's worth investing a few bucks on the "new" look phantoms?

edit: just had a genius idea...just take my originals, buy a couple replacement tails and throw em' on the back...Not sure why I didn't think of that five minutes ago! |

Maybe you didn't work it right ?
5 minutes isn't very much time to learn how to work a new lure,...... What was it doing in 5 min. ? How were you working it ? Fast ? Slow ? pulls ? Jerks ? Straight retrieve ? Pauses ? Long Pulls ? working it on Top ? Letting it sink ?

That makes three of us. I'm a huge phantom fan but I didn't like that tail it at all, and haven't really cared for them on many baits up to this point. I just can't seem to get any action I like while using them. |

| The reason it doesn't have the action of a regular Phantom is because it isn't a regular phantom! Its a different tool! If you throw a regular phantom for a few hrs. with no results, tie on a phantail and that different action may be what the fish want that day! We always say let the fish tell us what they want! This is just my .02! |
