| Split grip? I don't think you will like it because every time you rip it its going to dig in your side bad |

| Sounds like you tried this? I'd buy a full cork if someone has one.i don't have a split grip rod and would like to try one of those also,so Probly for the little bit id be using it shouldn't bother real bad right?I can see if you ripped em for a few hours that might be a problem.i already do pretty good on blades, top and cranks in my area so I won't waste a lot of time on the rubber but for the days Im not getting any action, I'd like to throw a few. |

Location: Lakeville, MN | I had a split grip too and I got bruises on my ribs every time so I switched to full grip. You cant beat a ti rod for the price. James has some great rods are extremely fair prices

| Looking at em right now.i think ill have to have one, maybe an 8'6" xxheavy.Might as well add one to the list. I've got a dozen dominatrix 10s and 10 mag super Ds on a Ti wish list waiting on Muskie funds to replenish.

| Thanks for the offer, Im actually headed to gander mtn rt now to check those mojo and the gsx classic xx heavys that they had there the other day. They had $50 off st croix and 30% off all gm guide series Rods.the gsx are only $99 regular price with 30 off that. Be worth taking a look at em. I have another gm pro select xheavy that's been a good rod and caught a lot of fish. But at 2-6 Its not up to the task. Not sure what the rating is on there xx rod is.the new ones have nice big full cork grips with fat foregrip on them too.I'm not sure I liked the smallish fore grip on mojos.or a split now that everyone has brought that up,but I'll give em a second look..wife wants to go to the mall anyway so I might as well go check out gander.that always makes her quicker, she knows the longer i got the more stuff i gotta have.I can hold em both side by side and if I don't like either one I think I'll try a Ti.I have a good deal offered on one and also an offer on a MI rod. |
