Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland | As an employee of the local government here in the People's Republic of Maryland, we get a day off Tuesday due to the 2 feet+ of snow that we got. Wondering what you "Up North" (and Buffalo) people do during these times. Even if we can get out, why bother? - the stores are closed, etc. I"m sure its' a regular thing for most of you. Do they cancel school, work, etc. for you when it snows or does life go on there. |

| We shovel out the end of the driveway and go to work. The plow dudes do a great job keeping the roads open. 2' would probably close the schools, though, especially in windy conditions (drifting). |
