Looking for some input on a big water boat. I live on Erie and will use this for walleyes and salmon, and at St. Clair for muskies. What larger fiberglass boats are some of you guys running? I'm definitely getting one with an outboard so I can fish late into the season without worrying too much about winterizing. Some that I am considering are:
225 Aquasport Explorer
23 Hydra-Sport SeaHorse
2302 Trophy

Once had a 24 ft. Bayliner Trophy with Volvo Penta I/O not a bad boat only issue was the trim tabs stuck and boat wouldn't plain however this was due to lack of use and salt water. I also had a 28 ft. Grady White, one fantastic boat very stable in rough seas. I like Grady White however there are a lot of good boat manufactures out there.

My dad had a 225 Aquasport and a 23' Hydrasport (though it may not be that exact model) and I ran both of them quite a bit. The Hydrasport was build pretty well but I'm not sure I would say the same for the Aquasport.
