| Mine if I have to pick just one might be this of myself and a buddy with a double header of sorts as we were fishing in different boats side by side and both landed our fish at the same time mine was 54" his was 52" best part is both were caught on baits I made

| I can't make up my mind. My first ever musky is going to be hard to beat, but not the best pic we could have had had I been used to holding large fish. But the sunset pic captures the essence of the trip where I caught my first, as well as a couple more.

My first season back on my island went well and I fished nearly every single day from June 15 through late October and then I slowed down to a few times a week as daylight allowed. Into tying season now and back to it March/April.

I Really like the angle on this shot of a mid 30's fish I caught this fall in NJ. I moved the fish on a Leo but couldn't get him to commit. Thew back a DCG and slow rolled it and BAM. Awesome fight, this fish did not give up.
I lost a mid 40" fish right before I took this pic. I remember looking back thinking "what could I have done to get that fish in the net" and the sun was setting over the hills as I quickly forgot about that fish and grabbed my camera.

Location: Aurora | First fish during my August honeymoon trip, all chromey and blemish free.
This one made an ass of me as most mid 30's do when hooked next to the boat.
Mid air headshakes, cartwheels, even jumped over the bow of our rental.
During release, it curled and grabbed my free hand for one last headshake.
No biggies that trip but plenty-o-action and the wife was blown away.

| wers445 is the winner. Believe it or not the guys in the pic and the guy taking the pic didn't know what was going on. They thought they were just taking a cool fish pic. Obviously the guy in the background taking care of business did - he has a big smile on his face and is giving the thumbs up - it doesn't show up very good on here (maybe that is a good thing). Lots of laughs later when we zoomed in.
The Nestor Falls/Sioux Narrows area is a great spot for a winter trip. |
