Location: Waukee, IA | Was curious if anybody has ever tried trolling with the shadzilla or even the new Hot Orba from Bondy and found some success. Was wondering if they ran well at some of the faster speeds or if the slower speeds seemed to be best for them. |

Location: ON | I slow trolled a Hot Orba with no success but didn't give it enough time to actually tell.
In the spring I plan to troll the hot orba on a downrod. |

| Should work...I've heard some crazy stuff. While I did not make any of my baits to troll with, a guy I know trolled an original Bondy on Lake Erie and caught 6 walleye and 3 rainbow in one day with it. |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I love Shadzillas you can fly those things through the water and they run true. I think the mag ones are rated up to 10mph. I know I can go faster then 5 with my reg ones too and they run true.
Never caught anything on them trolling though, all the fish that have come on my shadzillas have been casting. |

Haha we just started trolling after a long day of casting with only a few follows. About 5 minutes in the drag starts screaming in 30 FOW so I pick up the rod and its just dead weight. I reel in and as it gets close to the boat I see its a turtle with the shadzilla hooked in its mouth and foot. Me and my buddy look at each other and start laughing until we realize whose the unlucky bastard thats gotta take it off. So i begin to go at it with needlenose while its snapping and trying to bite me. Lucky its bite the gunnel of my rowboat and i quick pop the hook out of its mouth. Now all I need is the foot so i tell my bad to take the needlenose and he's gonna pop the hook when I tell him. He grabs the needlenose and on 3 I grab the turtle by the tail to take its mind off the hook while he popped it from the foot. SOB came an inch from my finger but he same away to eat a shadzilla the next day. Still got that shadzilla to this day!! |
