I am gonna be getting a custom built rod this winter, I am curious whats the difference from the Legend Tournament Rods and the Predator rods. I know both are made by St. Croix but what makes them different?

thanks

SC's are faster in action. Predators are a bit more moderate in action.

I feel like the predator blanks fall nicely in between the legends. Predator xh , in between big dawg and slingblade. Predator h in between slingblade and long ranger....and so on. That's how they feel to me anyway, and I do have both.

The Pred's load up deeper into the blank than the LT's. I use Pred's of all weights as well as a Sling Blade and Big Nasty. All super good stuff...Comes down to personal preference...
