Anyone use these and care to give an opinion?

I have 2 of them. They get the job done. Pounders are too big for them but mag dawgs fit good in them but don't hang them on the ends.

Just looking to hang tuff shads, depth raiders and such baits for trolling. Do they keep the baits from tangling?

Yes - these are great boxes for most trolling baits. I own a bunch of them. They hold 45 lures (9 rows of 5), with a divider between baits, to keep hooks from snagging up.

The perfect box for 10" Nils or King Wiley type lures. Work fine for anything shorter than these.

Big Tuffs (largest size) might be a tight fit, if you have lots of them, due to the deep dive lip.

One Special Mate filled with 10" Jakes, gets tight, due to dive lip size. Same issue with 8" Jakes. ....so, I stagger Jakes every two rows mixed with Wiley Kings, 9" Gmas, Musky Magnets, 10" Believers, etc to loosen the fit, and have no issues.

Also good for most double 10s (Spanky Fireball size). Shockers fit but do not hang as the wire is too long.

Mag dawgs fit good (hanging them head up), as do TI dawg style lures.

Does the quality compare to a Plano Big Game Box? It looks like an affordable big bait box.

First year with mine and it handles the smaller lipped trolling baits well.one concern I do have is the latching tabs they look fragile always watching not to bang them around but for the price it gets the job done

They are not as robust as a Plano 7910 or 7915 (own 6-8 of these). The latching tabs are the weakest link. (have broken a couple)

However, as stated above, I own a bunch (atleast 10), and they put up with a ton of crap and are very durable. Also know many others who own, abuse and like them.

Great box for most lures up to 10".
