Some good options in that area - Susquehanna River, Juniata River, and also Lake Hopatcong in NJ about 1 hour 20 mins east of Allentown.

This time of year, the rivers are your best bet as they usually don't ice up unless we get a really good cold snap.

I fish the Susky and I use a Sea Ark Skimmer. 18' long. 7' wide with a 45 hp Merc jet. I get right around 30 mph with it and i can go anywhere. I can run some stuff thats 3 inches if im alone and empty. 2 people i usually try to keep it in 5 inches.

you dont need a jet for the lehigh river.I used a prop there for 15 years.You really cant run the lehigh river like the other 2 river systems.
