Tech, take out that orange Reef Hawg and start talking to it...polish him up...this very well could be the year that "awesome in the water looking bait" takes you to new heights in fish size! Been cold/windy this year too, especially since the average temps. should be in lows 30s night, mid to 40s/50s day...coldest winter and most snow in a decade at least. Grab Ghoti and you guys do the trip he posted on!;)

It's still to early to come to the Cave!!! It's been colder than normal here also. I'm sure that there are icebergs floating around on the Cave. But fear not!! Weather is to warm up to the mid 40's and rain all weekend!!

Hey FirstSixFeet:

What do you mean Stevie was a technician??  You can't play a guitar like that just from practice.  He's the real deal.  I never saw too many "technicians" stand on their instruments, tear the strings out of them, bounce them off a bar wall, etc.

If SRV was a technician, then what great axe slinger isn't??  He's the real deal.

Dang it's cold out, and I know the Cave will be on murky mud hole when we get down there.

Just like a hot fish! Yah toss the bait out and the strike occurs before you even give it a twitch. I plan to personally make sure Cave is clear and fishable this spring, and no more cold weather #$%&! either. I am going to have a fella named Sponge come over from the Virgina Territories and filter it all out, he will do this because the week before the outing Tony Grant has promised to toss a case of unwrapped pay days into the lake.

Look like we won't be fishing the parking lots this year! 6.9 feet above summer pool and dropping.

If the drawdown continues like it has over the last couple of weeks we are going to see The Cave right at summer pool. Looks like a nice warming trend with the weather in the high fifties and low to mid sixties till we get there. BRING IT ON!!!

Norm you got to like that weather pattern. I am thinking about going a day early and hitting kinkad for a day. I got the fever so bad that I'm about to go in the back yard and twitch some Slammers through the grass and around the dogs winter piles. Well maybe not that bad yet.
