What is the best paint to buy for plastic baits and also the best sealer to use when making a musky bait?

Sealer is unnecessary to use on plastic or resin baits. Sealer is used to seal wood and keep it from getting water logged or from seeping its own natural oils out into the paint.

As for "best" paint to use...is a matter of personal preference. I love the look of automotive/lacquer paints, but they require proper ventilation and clean up is a pain. I have gotten used to water based acrylics and I love them. very little smell or toxicity and easy to work with. Good Luck.
