Location: Kildeer, IL | I'm looking to buy a new or used 1760 before next spring. Since there doesn't appear to be any used 1760s for sale, it looks like I will be buying new. Tuffy's website is very poor at showing color options for their boats. The small samples don't even give you an idea of what the boat would look like.
I'm looking to the Tuffy community for help. Can you post pictures of your Tuffy and let me know what color options you chose? It doesn't have to be a 1760. Any Tuffy will do. I'm interested in Polyflake and non-Polyflake boats.
Thanks for your help! |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Tuffy V Hull colors in the 1760, 1890, 2060, and 2100 are arranged:
Top deck and interior
Top Panel
Center Panel
Bottom panel
Running bottom
The first boat is Gunmetal top deck and interior, black gel top panel, gunmetal center panel, black gel bottom panel, and black gel running bottom. The second is red poly, red poly, black cherry, black cherry, black gel. You can 'frame' the center panel with the small bottom panel and top panel if you want.
Gel colors are black, white, burgundy, slate, grey. Basically, the gel colors match the polyflake colors. You can't buy a polyflake bottom.
Hope this helps, I can send lots of images to you if you like.

| Here's a link to some pics of my 1890 when I first got it. That's a very limited color combination. You need my permission to recreate it.

I haven't seen a boat that is all gel (no polyflake) yet. Does anyone have one?

| I'll try to find a pic of my old Rampage. Gray bottom and Blue top stripe, all solid color.
I think my next Tuffy will be that combination again. |

Here's one similar to mine, except mine had a beautiful Black motor on back!
