Location: Woodstock, IL | I had this in the boat/motor forum but received no responses. Thought I'd try it here too:
I'm in the market for one of Garmin's GPS/Sounder combos. I originally looked at the 168; however it is limited in power compared to the 188 and 238. Does anyone out there have experience with the 188 or 238? If so, I have some questions:
The 238 doesn't seem to offer much over the 188 except screen size. Why is it so much more expensive?
The 188 is available with an internal or external antenna. I like the idea of the internal. Will it receive signals with no problem?
