| I can't say enough about Tooth Tamer rods!! I just got back from my 3rd Tarpon trip and used Tooth Tamer Rods to cast for Giant Tarpon. Wow!! They were amazing fighting these fish from 135# to 185#. I put so much heat on these fish and the rods held up with ease. I was impressed! Looks like I need to make them part of my Muskie arsenal! I also had all strikes and bites on Big Game Tackle baits. These Tarpon love'em and smash'em in "seek and destroy" mode! These baits are holding up to giant Tarpon and they love that sexy wobble Big Games put out!! Last, I cannot say enough about the Shimano Calcutta D and TE. I was able to fight these fish with both these reels and they are bulletproof!! I tried to put so much heat on these fish and anytime that is done early in a Tarpon battle they go nuts and put a lot of strain on equipment. It all held up great and I whipped those Tarpon in 10 min or so with this gear!!
It's great to see such quality rod and tackle makers out there!! Top quality product at an affordable price!! Good job guys!!! Your products didn't fail in the harshest conditions and excelled fighting some of the most difficult species on the planet to land!!! | |
