have a trip planned to LSC this weekend, full moon, any ideas on the clarity Anchor Bay area, or best any where there? Hoping wind is going to oblige us.
Thanks All.

The wind & rain we've gotten this past week (& still getting) have dirtied/muddied up the lake.

how long would you expect the muddied water to last. Was debating on a trip over thanksgiving and want to know if it would be a worthwhile shot. This will be my first venture to LSC. Thanks in advance

Everyone planning trips to LSC, needs to stop asking if water conditions, will be fishable in two, three and four weeks out. This is a big lake, and conditions change by the hour, let alone the day or week. Not trying to be a SA, and fully understand some travel a long ways to get here.

It's the fall and it gets windy a lot (especially this year). Plan on fishing some dirty/stained water during your trip. Be flexible to move 15-20 miles, if need be. The entire lake is rarely ever unfishable.

Ex: South shore can be tore all to hell, but north shore is gin clear (25 miles away), and vice versa. I have seen the south shore appear to be wasted, but get in a little tighter to shore, and it is clean, sometimes too clean. On a hard south wind, I have seen the belle unfishable dirty in the AM from a prior north blow, and by noon, too clean to fish.

Best to check the weather and wind conditions, much closer to your trip. Plan your fishing location, based on the wind conditions for your stay, and factor in a day or two prior.

2 of the last three weekends the wind forecast went from under 10 to over 20 from Tues to Thurs for the following weekend. Always check the weather.
