Subject: Top reasons I didn't shoot a deer opening weekend..





Location: North Metro, MN		Great time of the year to catch fat fish, but I always take a break for the tradition of firearms deer opener in MN. Here's a few excuses for not filling my tag...

1. The birds told them where I was
2. The deer I heard running around were actually squirrels
3. Set up the "Decoy" but it went belly up
4. I tried calling the deer... but then lost service
5. Rattling lures is not as effective as rattling antlers
6. The doe in heat was actually doe in a can
7. It was supposed to be a silent one...
8. I'm a better Muskie hunter than deer hunter

Location: Smith Creek		In Wisconsin if we don't shoot a deer we take a good, hard look at ourselves and at our method of hunting...

Then we blame the DNR.

Another reason is that Anhaeser Bush stopped selling Bush in that camo orange/green pattern.
