| Anyone know of a good non-slip surface that can be added to the floor throughout the interior of a boat?
So far this is all I have come up with. http://www.stellarcoatings.com/gator-deck.html
There is no option to order or contact anyone off the website, but I'm sure it can be found somewhere.
Any other options or suggestions you can help me out with would be awesome of you. I'm trying to find the nicest product I can find without a slippery surface when wet that can also be applied to the compartment doors - thin enough to close properly. Just imagine needing the ability to run around the boat pretty quickly without falling  I'd like to find something that is not too hard or unpleasant to sit on also.
Last questions... Has anyone ever done this before? Do you have a rough estimate on what it cost for you to do this? I would imagine a pretty penny if you were to have it professionally installed... which is what I would like to do - leave it up to the professionals!

| I have thought about that. Are there any rubber-like bed-lining products? I should have included that this will be applied to fiberglass. A primer may be necessary. Looking for something that is better suited for walking on with bare feel and sitting on while cruising through some chop than the standard bed-liner. |

Location: Gilberts IL/Rhinelander WI | I've used "Hercu-liner" (sp?). On my trucks and have been very impressed over the years. It is rubbery, non slip and very durable. I pull tools in and out daily. Not sure about a fiberglass application. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Tuffy uses a latex rubberized liner spray and has finished the entire interior of several boats with that material. It's pretty tough, but not real forgiving to bare feet or your knees, as bed liner isn't. I'd suggest that material as a base everywhere there is currently carpet, and white marine vinyl flooring on the deck and floor. |

Location: tHe LaKe Of PrIoR, mN | seadek will do any custom cut you come up with and they can in lay logos pics etc... I had a wakeboarding boat and had seadek custom cut wood grain look alike for a fake teak swim platform it was pretty sweet
It very friendly to the bare feet knees and slip resistant, but I cant say for sure once it gets cold out late fall how slip resistant it will be if rain freezes on it but nothing is slip proof then ice will coat anything

| Seadek, that stuff sounds awesome! Do you guys have a rough estimate on what that stuff costs per square foot?

Location: Sw Pennsylvania | I bought a "beater" boat for winter fishing walleye and muskies. Its a 16' lowe with a 9.9 tiller on the back. I bought some abrasive tape off ebay for the back seat so someone could stand and cast off the back seat. Didn't cost much but I only bought 3 pieces. Stuck very very nicely and has added a very nice rear casting platform.
