My father in law has a place on miner lake near allegan mi. I've done some research on the area and found a few lakes to try like campau and osterhout but I was hoping some guys from the area could chime in and send me in the right direction. Not lookin for any specifics just some help picking a lake to try where we have a shot at a fish. With the new addition to my family musky only trips have been few n far between this year and it would b awesome if I could find a lake with a fishable population near the grandparents so I could sneak off and get some fishing in when were over there to visit. Thanx for any help in advance.

Check out Muskies Inc Chapter 47 website. Lots of info on SW Michigan Lakes. There are 5-6 lakes within an hour of Allegan. http://www.michiganmuskiealliance.org/muskie_index.php

Thanx everyone. Is sister lakes the town round is in? The structure in campau sure looks pretty good. I like to fish deep n steep lakes and thro a lot of rubber but can adapt usually pretty good. Osterhout seems pretty shallow. And I've read the ramp is kinda janky. Any of these lakes that may suit my style of fishing better than another. I no I need to get out n learn the area on my own but any info helps. I saw a few lakes named round in the area on my navionics app I think one was close to paw paw. Just don't wanna go to the wrong round and b chunkin baits at water with no muskies lol thanx again everyone.
