All I know how to do is change the oil....

Anyone know if this motor can be used in Saltwater? Any modifications and special maintenance needed? If not, can it be converted somehow?

Appreciate any insight shared!

No differences, just be sure to flush it out and wash it down after every use.

Depending on how long you'll be using it in saltwater, you may want to change the sacrificial anode . Zinc and aluminum anodes are used in saltwater; magnesium anodes for fresh water applications.

If available for that motor, that is.
