| The 1st Annual Milwaukee Expo Bait Swap is history. By my count, 29 swappers showed up, sold some baits, bought some baits, tipped a few, and talked alot about Muskie FIshing. Special appearance by Thick Shady.
Door Prizes were awarded to:
Buddy Solberg - Long Distance Award- MuksieFirst T-Shirt
Tone - Skinniest Muskie Dude - MuskyNut Hat
Out2Lunge - Most Baits Brought - MuskieFirst T-Shirt
GregM - Biggest Whiner - Muskies101 Crying Towel
Best Practical Joke - West Allis Officer Brees - MuskyNut Hat
Biggest Group - Sheboygan Dudes - TM Tails
The best joke was on me. On a routine stop to look for underagers, Officer Brees, came up to me and asked me for my West Allis Sales Permit! ahhh..uhmmm... "We're not selling anything! It's a swap. Honest. We're only swapping baits. No Sales going on here. No sir, Officer". He really had us going, until he started laughing! Whew. Dodged that one. Turns out he's a Muskie Dude!
GregM would have gotten the Long Distance Award, but he arrived too late to qualify. Then we had to listen to him whine about the snowflake he saw that afternoon, about how he was tired, that his date stood him up, whaa, whaa, whaa, whaaa. Greg, glad you made it bud!
Thanks to those who showed up. I know I didn't get a pic of everybody, so please accept my apologies. I promise to do better next year. To those who couldn't make it, you missed a good time. Hopefully we'll see you there next year.
I want to thank MuskieFirst, Muskies101, MuskyNuts, and ToddM for donating the Door Prizes. A big thanks to you.
PS. Extreme One, you really missed out. Out2Lunge had a bunch of 7" Slammers. Jason and I scarfed them up!

Location: oswego, il | Shep, I scarfed one of those old slammers too, along with a deep diver and an old run undertaker. I think out2lunge sold more lures than alot of people have.
Was a great time shep. Can't wait to do it again. My hangover was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. | |

| The swap was as good as the show. Lots of good muskie talk and unique lures and tackle. Sorry to anyone that wanted some hot flappers. Shep bought a boatload of chick wings that stayed in casting range of me for too long. My best swap was with Jomuskie. We swapped a day on river X for a day on lake X. | |

Location: Wausau/Phillips WI | Thanks Shep for all your work in putting the swap meet together. I wish my wife, daughter, and I could have stayed longer and had some refreshments but I had to drive back to Wausau yet that night. Thanks to everyone that donated door prizes.
