I'll be going to leech this weekend, seeking out one of the giants hopefully. Just wondering if anyone has been getting out? Where is the water temp sitting at? Any info is much appreciated. Thanks for your time. Good luck to all. I'll report back after the weekend.

Gotta love toad season

Water temps were 38 on the main lake as of Wednesday afternoon. All fish were caught on pounders on the edges of rock reefs adjacent to deep water. Didnt see any giants but the low to mid-forties were active.

Thanks for the reply hawgbelly. We were going to stick to walker bay, but the rocks are sounding like fun, thanks again.

I'll be out there this weekend as well. 38 sounds awefully low for early Nov. Ciscoes should be up on the rocks and points and you'll usually see them breaking the surface. The big girls won't be too far from them. I was planning on staying in Walker Bay as well, but it looks like the wind is going to be cooperative for the main lake. I'll be in a black Lund with the net int the water. Stop by and say "hi." Good luck!
