| I was wondering what was the most fish you ever caught in a day? Most follows in a day and most missed fish in a day? Just thought it would be interesting to see what every one has done.

| The most muskies I got in a day is 12 but most of them were small(this past june on a river up north). 2 of us got 8 legals(of which I had 4,3 over 40) 2 Wednesdays ago. That was the best action day for legals.
Monica and I had a day 3 years ago in which I caught a 47" and a 41" she got a 44 and a 39" pike and she lost 4 other muskies all over 45",and I lost what is still the biggest fish I ever had on. All the action was on bucktails and happened between 6 and 8PM in July. she will never forget that night(neither will I)! |

| Best Day and a half.. 11 muskies from 47 to 35 with only three under 40 inches on Lake X.
Best single day, 7 legals on Pewaukee and one happy client.
Best single day this year with one client Jim Stella. 41",37",35",32" with four pike between 34" and 30".. Not bad for a busy boat traffic day on Pewaukee.
Best single day on Salmon this year. 15 fish in 6 hours, 5 Kings up to 22lbs and 10 Browns 8 to 12lbs. The three of us must have had 225lbs in the 120qt. cooler..
Best salmon in the boat this year. 37" 28lbs. digital.. now thats some girth!! Came on a 10 fish day with my one brother.
Biggest brown, 16.8lbs caught by my good friend Mark Sanky in my boat.
Just thought I would also mention the salmon stuff to make Worrall all crazy!!!. I know how he loves to eat them.[]
Best day ever, was watching Worrall shake as a 55x28 passed by the boat behind his bait..Now that was priceless[] |

| My musky fishing has been quite limited to date. As far as other species. I remember several years ago fishing my favorite fall creek for dolly varden while the coho were spawning in Alaska. Caught 113 dollies that day...most were small but had two over 5 pounds. Had another day with my brother on a small creek in Alaska where we hit the silvers and the tide perfect. In 7 hours I caught 33 silvers and 45 pinks....couldn't move my arm for 3 days after that. My best big fish day was 11 king salmon in 2 hours all from 25 to 45 pounds...right in Anchorage. On the Missouri I spent a 14 hour day 4 years ago in a juvenile effort to catch 100 trout....only got 83. Muskies? 2 is my best. I'm still a novice, give me time.

Best day was 13 in Nogies Creek Bay on Pigeon Lake in 1970. They were from 30 to 45". It was the middle of May and we were fishin' walleyes, stumbled into the Bay and just hung on!! They wiped us out of #11 and #13 silver Rapalas.
Best 'in-season' day was 7 in Kendall Club Bay, late June, 1972, the first year that Suicks hit Chautauqua Lake. God whad'da year that was!!!
Late July, '75 my partner and I had 5 in the boat on one drift down along the weed edge above the Stowe Ferry in Chautauqua. We had quite a crowd on the cottage lawns cheering us on.
Went 0 boated, for 9 on in July 1969 when we were fishing Mepps #5's in Chatauqua's Burtis Bay. We were fishing them low and slow and the fish would hit as the spinners were rising at the boat. Overtaking from behind like that I couldn't keep 'em on. Eurasian Milfoil is so bad now that one can't even get a boat through Burtis Bay. |

| 7 years ago, down at Lake Evergreen, my friend todd and I caught 27 muskies in one day. They all came out of a spillway that was being worked on. There must of been hundreds. We would of caught more but the game warden kicked us out because it wasnt safe. We went back a few times and caught a bunch but it was never the same. [:0]
ranged from 32" to 38" |

| I feel like a "Piker" compared to some of you guys! Anyway, the best I've done is 3 Tiger Muskies in one day (no naturals here in Maryland). |

|
| hey predator, are you a mountaineer too? |
|
| |
|
| Early fall, slight cold front, moderate winds from the west,7 Muskys landed, 3 lost, all but one over 40" the biggest was 48".
One of the fish lost was about 52", cried for about three hours after the loss, but couldn't really complain much about the day.
All on Minnetonka |
