| I absolutely love this reel, but not for dbl 10's. I personally won't use anything bigger than maybe dbl 8's with it. It is fantastic for jerkbaits, gliders, topwaters, crankbaits, small bucktails, but it is certainly not made to handle consistent dbl 10 use. |

I have 2 cardiffs that have 3 and 4 years of double tens and both are still fine. but the question was about the curado 300 ej, which i dont have, but I do have the 300dsv, which is my favorite reel that i have ever used, but I dont use it for Double tens, not enough power. 300ej with even less power. But I do use it for everything else.
300dsv I just feel like I am fighting the equipment a little too much on double tens. would have to imagine the 300ej wont have it either, even with the longer lever arm of the power handle.
And it isn't an issue of me getting worn out. I just feel like I am putting too much strain on the reel itself.
I'd get one and use it for everything, and see how you like it for double tens. and regardless if you do or dont, you will like it for everything else.

| I really like the 300ej but it would be way down on my list of reels to use with 10's. |

| I have the 300e, and like most guys on here say it's a bit too much work for double 10's. That said, the curado's are the most comfortable muskie reels out there. Double 10's and up I use the tranx. |

| I have one and have been throwing blades all year with it. Love this reel. Very smooth, easy to cast reel, almost never get any backlashes. Get one, you'll love it. |

| I like mine for everything, including 10s. 5 days on LOTW this summer throwing 8's or 10's almost exclusively the entire trip. I brought a saltist 20 and curado ej. Started out using the saltist the 1st day and never touched it again. So 4.5 days straight of big blades with a Curado EJ and I loved it. I have since got a Tranx and I still prefer the Curado for 10's at a comfortable fast pace and anything slower.
FOR ME, there is no better reel than a Curado EJ for everything. |

| I have tried my 300ej for 10's and was amazed that it works pretty nice as far as effort and speed, not sure on how good it would be for the reel. BR |

Same thoughts I had. Works fine but not sure how long the real would last. |
