Hey folks. I recently purchased a weighted 12" Mag Suick. To this point I am finding that mine runs very differently than any Suick I have thrown to this point. I am wondering if others have found the same thing or if I am not working it correctly.

In my experience I have found the 10 weighted to remain very flat during the pull and glide. Also my 10's have a beautiful slow rise on the pause. This 12 wants to turn on its side during the pull and it does not rise on the pause? Is this typical? I have attempted adjustments without much success.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

my 12s run fine with the usual adjustments. I run the unweighted versions. a great source is steve suick himself. I have called steve at number on website and he has been very helpfull. others have told me that if all else fails you can send him the lure and he will tune it for you. give steve a call unless others here give you your answer.

Used two weighted magnums this year: one of them was dramatically more buoyant than other (one rose same speed as a weighted 10, the other barely floated) -- maybe with so much more wood mass than in the 10, the variation between individual baits is greater? the heavy one also looked to have a larger (diametr) lead plug

May have to give Steve a call or will talk to him at a show this spring. The one I have actually sinks on the pause.
