Subject: June, July or August?


Looking to take a week long family trip to leech lake or some other lakes in that area. Was curious what time frame would generally be the best for musky.Thanks.

The guys I fish with and myself have always done better in July and august then June. If it was me I would go mid to late august.

Location: Thief River Falls MN		Late August would be best IMO, if u are a troller mid June would be ok for some suspended fish possibly...

Location: Waukee, IA		I would go around the end of july or first 2 weeks of August. Fish are usually on sand bite and rocks by then and are hungry!

Location: Minnesota		If you are going to Leech - I wouldn't go before about July 10th. If you are going elsewhere - anytime is a good time.
