I'm in the market for one of Garmin's GPS/Sounder combos. I originally looked at the 168; however it is limited in power compared to the 188 and 238. Does anyone out there have experience with the 188, 188c or 238? If so, I have some questions:

1. The 238 doesn't seem to offer much over the 238 except screen size.  Why is it so much more expensive?
2. Is color worth the extra expense over the regular 188?
