Subject: Big V and leech lake question

Location: Metro , Mille Lacs, and G. Rapids
Is it possible to use anything to big this time of year on these bodies of water.... for example a 13 inch believer .. to big? To small? Just right?? also any recommendations for these bodies of water?

I have done best on 6"-8" lures this year on Leech. I'm still moving fish on big stuff though.
