Looking at a trip around Oct. 22nd.

Does anybody have any reports or insight to what the heck works ?

Areas, structure, baits ????

It is less than 3.5 hours from the house and I need a musky trip fix....

Would really like to learn about this lake!!

Thanks

Fishing should be good then. Right now the water temp is in the low 70's to upper 60's. You should be able to find active fish in shallow water.

The Kansas City Star fishing report says "muskies fair on bucktails in shallow water."

Water temperature still around 69 to 70. Needs to cool off a little more for muskies to be more active.
Martins Flats, along with the south and north buoys, are usually popular around this time of year.
