I picked up a big dawg for pounders, its a lot stiffer imo than the big nasty. Then again mine is short an inch too if that affects it much? I'm going to use the nasty for 10s + and also up to mag dawgs

Also do you prefer the rod better at pounders or better at blades?

If I had to pick one to do both it would be the Big Dawg, but most guys I know would choose the Nasty.
If I had to pick one to do blades and mag dawgs it would definitely be the Nasty.

nasty is a way better blade rod... imo the big nasty is about as good of an all around rod made... big dawg will throw pounders better but I do throw pounders quite easily w my nasty..imo i'd go w the big nasty

Big Dawg can throw pounders but it is a lot of work in my opinion. Gave me problems with my shoulder because it was a lot of work to cast with any distance. My shoulder still hasn't fully healed. With that said, it is the nicest and most expensive rod I have ever owned. There are better rods out there for pounders IMO.
