Location: Northern Illinois | I've got a couple in the closet from last year's $5 bin. I never hear anybody talk about them though when they mention soft plastics. Are they not in the same class as the Bulldawgs, Super-D's etc.? Seem like they should be good and I'm thinking about giving them a try this weekend... |

| They work...they have difrfernt action then dawgs. Like most Rubber (or any Rapala/Storm musky product) you need to change the hooks and rings becasue they are sub par quality. Also consider triming the flaired gills back as all they do is make the bait wider at the most likely point it will get hit by a fish. |

Location: Northern Illinois | I saw a show where Lee Tauchin was throwing them.....so I figured they must
be ok and picked up a few. The bigger size is pretty hard to throw, but Iv'e fished
w/the smaller one a couple of times and had one follow on it. Haven't really fished
w/it in awhile....going to get it out again & throw some more this fall. Thanks for
reminding me! Looks pretty good in the water. |

Location: Detroit River | I have one of the small ones. Took it out of the package & on the third cast caught a 42". Have caught 9 or 10 from mid 30's to mid 40's on it. The hook-up rate is better than the bull dawg IMO. It's lighter & swims different but there's more vibration from the tail than a bull dawg. Storm stopped making them because of slow sales so most places have them cheap. I've been meaning to pick up a few more. |
