Location: Minneconia		Bought a used 08 Ranger this summer with an HDS 8 on it, it started to act up this weekend, not showing map, screen flashing, etc...took it off to inspect and I could hear water sloshing around inside. Has anyone else had this issue? Am I SOL because I bought it used with the boat? Pretty bummed cause there's no way I can afford to replace it right now...plan on calling Lowrance tomorrow morning to see what they can do.

Location: Gilberts IL/Rhinelander WI		If you call them, give the SN. they may help you out if it falls within the ones they know had problems. Mine did it right away so it was within warranty. They may give you a new one or a great deal at least.
