Just wondering if I should be working the shallows or jigging the deep for the fall bite, water temp. is 66 degrees in Northern Illinois, Thanks... Crank

Healthy weeds, look for the bait fish along with'em. You will find musky's.

Hi Cranker...

I've been having some fishless outings myself lately on the
Fox Chain. Been fishing the same spots, but the fish don't seem
to be interested. Mostly been fishing shallow on the weed flats.

Anybody know where they went? Or maybe they're just off a little
bit. Water temps been hanging pretty steady at around 66 degrees.

Where you been catching them Toro?

The chain sucks in the fall. The only thing I've found to be somewhat productive is to fish south
