| Can anyone recall water temps on their favorite lake reaching over 80 degrees? Can you recall the number of consecutive days/weeks the water temp reached at stayed over 80 degrees? How about over 85-90 degrees?

Location: Minnesota | Just about every year in the Twin cities metro the lakes get above 80 for a few weeks in August. Haven't seen anything above 85 though. |

Location: Sawyer County, WI | I've seen it as high as 82 last summer here in northern WI but usually doesn't last more than a few weeks or so. |

| I have a question.
Do lakes like Cave Run reach 80+ for over a month out of the year? How about 2-3 months? You would think waters that far south would be un-fishable for at least 3 months out of the year due to high water temps, no? Does that make ever reach 85-90? |

| At Kinkaid in Illinois we have 3 months of no fishing due to high temps. Memorial Day to Labor Day is usually no Muskies fishing for us. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I certainly can, even living in NW Wisconsin. Last summer I think I went without fishing muskies for a month or more due to water temps being consistently well over 80 degrees, and it seems like many days were in the mid 80 degree range. Even the "cool" clear, deep lakes like LCO and Grindstone were very warm.
Walleyes coming from 20 feet down felt warm to the touch and even they released very slowly.

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | I've seen as high as 82° on Palmer. And what's more troublesome is that temps in the mid 70's, are being reached earlier and staying around longer. I'm seeing a huge surge in the Large Mouth Bass populations up by me. |
