Just lookin for a faster reel, wondering if anyone has tried the Abu Big shooter models? It looks to have the same components as my revo winch 61 just a faster 7-1 gear ratio.thinkin about tryin one out for bucktails and small cranks.

The Big Shooter is a Japan reel and I don't think it has a AR Pawl ???
I think it is the same as a Bass reel Revo.

you will work yourself to death using that reel. i tried a 7 ratio for topwater and it was too much.

I have a 6.9:1 Curado EJ and it works wonders for topwaters and smaller baits. Not sure what type of topwater would be too much for a high gear ratio reel unless it is something that pulls MUCH harder than most.
