Ok, guys/gals,.... This Event may be an "EPIC" Championship , with some really Big fish caught.... ON the Hottest Muskie water on the PLANET,.....How big will be the biggest fish caught??
Out of 35 Qualifying teams who are your top 5 Teams ?
Here are my top five finishers:
1) Of course: Morris & Berquest
2) Berman & Quintano
3)Tredway & Newman (great trollers)
4) Vig & Matz
5)Kowlowski & Mahan
In no piticular order......
Will the Locals Dominate? Or will Olson/Hamm or Cammarata/ Stella or Lehrherr/Lehrherr , Steal this away at the last moment form the leaders?

A lot of REALLY good sticks fishing this one,.....

Who will dominate:? Casters OR Trollers??

Bondy? Well if fall weather is consistent with past years, bringing wind and or mud, you better have a plan to jig the St Clair River and connecting channels. The last PMTT here was won with one.

G-ROME, Your forgetting some of the obvious favorites...Weber/Gustman have been on fire all year; starting out beating me by three inches in a Tarpon tourney(35" to 38" and thats girth!!) for a second place. Then, a week later, they caught a 50 at Cave! Team Tooth Tamer/Dreamcatcher are always dangerous and super consistant; Korpela/Mitchell(Rock stars/Top Gun) and Adkins/Gunderson! Don't forget Adamovich/Barber. They are for real! Plus team Canada: Mariacher/Anderson; good with deep fish and can handle big ones! This is the most stacked field of any tourney I've ever fished. Literally a Murders Row of muskie sticks! This field, coupled with the most prolific Musky fishery in history, will make for one of the most epic tourneys in Muskie history! Records will fall and legends will grow! This is a great moment for the PMTT. This is what a World Championship SHOULD be!! Good luck to all!

I'll chime along with Ben. I really like Jordan Gustman and Kyle Weber for this. I've been in a boat with both of them and they are as serious as a heart attack once the competition begins. I also like Adamovich and Barber as my other tie for first pick, another of the strong "young guns." No question it's Spencer's water, but the PMTT seems to have developed a pattern lately of bringing the local talent to surprise submission. Wish I could have been there to see it, but making it to the top 35 teams this year proved harder than it looks!

As a local who knows and has fished with both.......I'd bet my favorite" championship winning pounder" on Berman/quintano. Dudes know the water! As far as trollers/casters.....I think it's restricted to the American side, which I think will put the odds in favor of the casters. My 2 cents is only worth about .5 tho.

As we all know, each and every person in the universe can catch a Muskie. I hope all have there chances to win, but would not mind seeing some newer names in the winners circle. Good luck.

Everyone fishing the PMTT Champion is a "good stick."

This is probably the championship I have waited the most for in anticipation for an exciting outcome.

Will Spencer Berman and partner win on the home waters they absolutely dominate or will a new face claim victory?

A PMTT fantasy league would be fun.

FLW has deffinitely made a big thing out of Fantasy Fishing with over a million bucks in prizes. BASS probably has it too, but I don't follow them too closely. Musky fishing is likely "not quite" ready for prime time in that respect just yet, but it would be a whole lot of fun.

Just saw Olsen and Hamm headed south on 90/94/39 near Madison with the Pathfinder in tow. With a little help from the weather, there will be more than a few big fish with sore mouths come Sunday evening. Good luck, have fun, and be safe gentlemen!

Also, that boat is sick.

As was said prior, they are all good sticks . Top 30 teams got here for only one reason.
Berman/Quintano get the nod to take it all. They have had their eye on this one all year.
Home water aside they know how to catch fish.
Good luck Spencer and Matt take it all !!

Thanks Ben for the shout out! That's a huge complement coming from a darn good stick!
Hoping for a safe and good off season for all of our PMTT brothers and sisters. Can't wait
for next year hopefully some new faces, full fields, and new waters to conquer. Reading these
articles especially Marty's, Jerome's, and the rest of the PMTT folks made me realize there's a
little more than competing! Thanks Gundy
