Location: Northern Illinois | Looks like the muskies that were stocked in Lake Geneva are doing pretty well.
Have been seeing some pictures pop up on a different forum....showed a picture
of a 40" musky, and a few in the 30" range. That lake should be able to produce
some dandies w/the rich forage base available. Does anyone know when there will be a fishable population available to make it worthwhile chasing them? Being from Northern Illinois it would be nice to have a few more options close to home.

Location: Northern Illinois | It was posted on another forum that shows particulars for each
individual lake. (Initials are L.L.) There was a picture and description
of the fish not too long ago. |

| stocking started in 2010. If there is a 40"er in there it isn't from that stocking.

Location: MN | I don't know about Wisc stocking or if the data is available, but in MN they usually put some adults in especially in the initial stocking, and they publish the stocking info giving the number of fry, fingerlings, yearlings and adults. |

Location: oswego, il | The fish there are growing fast. I am glad the pike are.not getting them, I think that may be the issue on delevan. |

| I saw that same post and pics as Fishen-skis. Its great to think what this body of water can grow in to in regards to being a musky lake. It has all the right components to grow some monsters. Todd, I really wish Delevan would come around a lot more as a musky factory! We sure could use a few more lakes in this region that are stellar musky waters. I have heard of some good stocking in there tho for the past few years, so we may see some better results in the near future. Give Geneva another 5-7 years and we may have a gem! |

| There have been some musky in Geneva----I think some clubs may have put some in a few times---Not sure they were suppose to do that but I remember seeing a very large fish that was caught shore fishing at the Abbey a number of years ago. But they should grow good in there---Very nice lake--but the boat traffic makes it so hard to fish during the day. |
