Location: North Central, Indiana | How do you guys fish an east wind. I have never had any luck when fishing anyday that has wind coming out of any direction with N east, East, or S east. I want to fish but any east wind makes me think twice about going. Any help on this that would help changes my luck would be appreciated. |

Location: Eau Claire,WI | You are already beat before you get to the water. Change your perspective about ANY wind and simply fish. I love an east wind,don't care for west/sw winds.The river I fish goes east to west,slight north to south, a bit more current,a few more active fish...Try fishing 10am to 2pm,go shallow,to the bank shallow and you might be plesanly surprised! |

| When we get east winds it means its coming off of lake michigan and usually means rain or a cold front. Even with no rain I treat it like a cold front, slow my presentation and use a little smaller baits. |

| While I am not a huge fan of SE winds in the fall season...I do still believe..." Wind from the East...brings out the Beast"! You may not see as many fish as usual, but chances are good for your bite to be a good one!
I agree with posts above...fish confident and fish big fish spots with known big fish baits. |

I'm tired of work,.... Give me fishing in the Sleet/snow with a
20mph East wind any day. I don't think the fish care what direction the wind is blowing, when they are hungry.
