| That's an easy one...follow the crowds and you'll be fine. All the guides and local anglers will be packed in very small stretches of water. Fall fishing out there is not rocket science. It's all about time of water and just waiting for the bite. You wait it out each day and most likely will succeed. Last few years we had double digit fish days consecutively as did every other boat out there. |

| Used to be a lot less busy.
Lots of chatter and bragging doubled the pressure in last couple years.
Detroithardcore gave a very accurate prediction/rundown. |

| Why don't you just ask Chris? He's your guide and wants you to catch fish. You're going to hear all kinds of opinions from these St. Clair experts, but Chris will know because he's on the water every day.

| I don't see anyone on this post claiming to be "St. Clair experts". I see straight forward accurate advice. I sure know I'm no expert and strive to keep learning everyday with anything in life. Every angler I know has never claimed to be an expert. That would be called "stupidity", Kinda like your response. |

| Well, I guess that makes me stupid then, but listening to my guides, and not people like you has put many more fish in the boat. When I've asked them about throwing lures that you suggested, they told me "no". Maybe you are an expert, and perhaps what you say is true. I apologize for offending you and anyone else out there who was offended by my "stupid" comment. |

Location: Lake St. Clair | This is the reason you go with a guide, is it not? Chris will have you all set up. He is a great guide and a very knowledgable angler. Don't worry, he will be on the fish! I can almost promise you that you won't be jigging so don't worry about that.

| As another St. Clair "expert", I would count on your guide. I wouldn't expect the "zoo" areas to be producing much by that time.....unless it gets cold fast, soon, and stays that way. Which I sure hope it doesn't! |

Location: Algonac, MI | Too funny. Guess only guides should give advice, as they are the 'experts'.
Good luck and have fun. It's a great place to fish. Lures of choice for casters will likely be bigger soft rubber and twitch baits, with some spinners tossed in. Trollers will be pulling cranks (usually bigger, but everyday is different) and also big spinners.
Truthfully, though, as others stated, Chris will have it dialed in for you. He wants to put fish in the boat, so his advice will be sound.
