I have a 96 suburban that has the spare inside the vehicle. It has never seen the road and has only been out from under the cover once or twice to check the air pressure in it. Is this tire save to drive on in the event one of the others goes flat? I don't mean to drive around town I mean out on the lhat lonely strech of highway east of Omaha?
2nd question the tire on the F150 are about 6 1/2 years old but still have good tread. How long should a guy continue to drive on them? The spare is about 8 years old and stored under the truck I think its the factory orginal spare.
